First Vice President & Senior Trust Officer
As an attorney with over 30 years of experience in trust administration, Tom's expertise is a valuable asset to our clients. Tom believes that the customer focus of Bank of Ann Arbor is what sets it apart from other trust providers. Prior to joining Bank of Ann Arbor, Tom worked as a Senior Trust Officer and Relationship Manager at Comerica Bank. Tom also gained extensive experience in Employee Benefit Plan and Estate/Tax Administration with First of America Bank. He holds a J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law, a Bachelor's degree from Eastern Michigan University, and has attended the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University. He is a member of the Washtenaw Estate Planning Council, Washtenaw County Bar Association and the State Bar Association of Michigan. Tom is also on the Board of Directors of the Wellness Community of South East Michigan.

Vice President & Senior Investment Officer
Steve has a twenty-six year record of success managing institutional assets. He was most recently the President and Chief Investment Officer of Cedar Capital Management, Ann Arbor, Michigan. Prior to joining Cedar Capital Management, Mr. Seymour was responsible for the management of over $800 million in institutional assets at Woodbridge Capital Management and Manufacturers Bank, N.A. Mr. Seymour has a Bachelor's Degree from Michigan State University, an M.B.A. from Vanderbilt University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Vice President, Personal Trust Officer
Twenty-six years of experience in probate work and estate settlement and an exceptional reputation in the community are what distinguish Margaret. She also believes in going the extra mile to satisfy her clients. Because each client is a little different, Margaret assesses the needs of her clients individually and then discusses the options available for managing a client's assets and estate plans. Margaret previously worked as Assistant Vice President and Trust Officer for Key Bank. Ms. Vogel is a graduate of the Cannon Trust School and is a member of the Washtenaw Estate Planning Council.

Vice President & Director of Business Development
Mr. Helber is responsible for developing client relationships and coordinating retirement services offered by Bank of Ann Arbor. Prior to joining Bank of Ann Arbor, Eric was Vice President for Fidelity Investments Institutional Services Company and he was responsible for corporate retirement business in Michigan. Eric has also held Vice President positions in other industries including: banking (KeyCorp) and insurance (CIGNA/Prudential). For approximately 20 years, Eric's career has focused on investment consultation and retirement services. Eric is a lifelong resident of Ann Arbor and is involved in several community organizations. He is a graduate of Michigan State University with a B.A. in Business.

Sr. Vice President & Senior Investment Officer
A veteran of the trust and investment management industry, Bernie brings over 25 year of experience and knowledge to Bank of Ann Arbor as head of its Investment Department. He has broad experience serving a variety of clients including individuals, corporations, non-profits and municipalities. Prior to joining Bank of Ann Arbor, Mr. Bedell was the district manager for Key Asset Management (KeyCorp), responsible for the entire Michigan district. Bernie is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a BBA in Finance. Over his career, he has been very active with numerous charitable and civic organizations and is actively involved in the Presbyterian Church.

Business Development Advisor
James is responsible for exploring new business opportunities for the trust and investment team. Mr. Foran has 30 years of investment industry experience. He was formerly the Marketing Director at Cedar Capital Management. Prior to joining Cedar, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of Mellon Real Estate Investment Corporation which had over $800 million under management and prior to that a Vice President of Merrill Lynch, Hubbard. Mr. Foran is a graduate of New York University.

Vice President, Trust Operations
Erin has over 30 years of extensive operations experience. Prior to joining the Bank of Ann Arbor, Erin worked as a Vice President in Trust Operations at a large regional bank. Erin holds an MBA in Finance from Wayne State University as well as a BBA in Accounting from Western Michigan University. She is actively involved in several community service organizations.
